All court lines form part of the area they define. This take-off reports nominal straight runs and does not subtract overlap at crossings.

Line-width note

BWF Laws specify 40 mm lines that form part of the area they define.

What the take-off includes

Nominal straight line runs. Crossings and junction paint overlap are not deducted; use product coverage, coats and a visible waste allowance for purchasing.

Planning limits

The BWF playing-court laws do not by themselves approve venue run-off, wall distance or clear height.
